Keith and I got everything ready and packed up the car You would think we were going on a long trip. Those books are heavy! Anyway we went to the Dunnville Library and it was already set up beautifully right down to coffee ,tea and treats.mmm. Although I did not have time to munch.
Once the room filled up almost beyond capacity, things got underway with Joyce reading a short BIO that I had prepared for her. I explained how my book got started, then I read a couple pages and asked questions afterwards. Read from another section and answered more questions. I ended up reading four sections from my book and was very pleased with the questions that were asked and of course there were a few people who knew nothing about Labrador,or how to ask about it…very interesting how some people think!
But all in all it was a great evening. Joyce had a problem getting us to stop so she could start her book club meeting! It was a joyous experience…I am sooo blessed!
