Cathy wrote: "Wendy Massie-Guillemette Good for you!!!I just tried to chat with you but it looks like you were just going offline -I just wanted to let you know that I just finished your mom’s book and LOVED it!!! She’s a very talented writer and I want to know more!! Is she planning a second book by any chance??? I started reading it and couldn’t put it down! I was very impressed that she knew my Grandmother and uncles! Please pass along my compliments to her!!"
"Josie, I picked up a copy of your book from Chapters this afternoon and the amazing thing about it was, the sales rep who assisted me, asked what book I was looking for and before I even got the full title of your book out of my mouth, he said, "I know just the book you’re looking for….Josie Penny, right?…..I’ve read it already……awesome reading!"
So there you go…..that’s coming from a Haligonian who has no connection to Labrador whatsoever. I never thought to ask him how the book was doing in this area, but I have to assume it must be pretty hot.
I hope it’s not too long before you have to call your publisher for a reprint……gotta love it, eh?"

Re: So Few On Earth-Excellent! That is so good to hear…….Labrador is once more receiving the recognition it so desperately needs. My hats off to you on this one. Please say hi to Keith for me.
Hi Josie: Paul wrote: "This is an awesome venture you are on Josie…….you’ll do Labrador very proud. We, the people of Labrador, salute you for the efforts you have put into, and accomplished, in the making of this book with it’s revelations on how it was back in the earlier days of your youth. I am sure it speaks for the experiences of many others who lived through the same era. I think I speak for most, if not all, Labradorians, in my sentiments for your accomplishment."
Hi Josie, Paul wrote: "Well, I got started on your book last night and my interest was piqued while reading the first chapter. I just loved the way you wrote your mother’s replies to your youthful questioning in her own dialect. That, in itself, really adds character to your writing in a way that almost puts the reader in the midst of the conversation and era. What a wonderful touch!"
Josie: It was great to see you on Saturday. Hope it was a good day for you. With such a hectic schedule I haven’t had a chance to start your book.I am so looking forward to the read….Bizarre; that on Sunday evening I received a call to say I had won your book in the Book Fair draw…. Wonderful, I can give your book as a gift for another lucky reader..looking forward to see you again. Shirlene
