Hello Josie,
I have just finished reading your book. What an extraordinary journey you have had. Your "one day at a time" life has been full of experiences that I had never heard of but am glad to have a glimpse into your early days in Labrador, a place of which I knew nothing.
I was feeling quite inadequate after I started reading your book knowing that I had no idea, as I was growing up, of the varied lifestyle of fellow Canadians.
I have been a part of the committee organizing the Authors Book Fair in Port Dover the last two years so this is how I learned about your book. We are a small but committed group who want to provide the opportunity for readers to meet the many talented authors in our area . I will to continue to work on this committee to provide a venue so that authors and the reading public can meet.
You and your book will be the topic of discussion at my book club meeting next month.
