Good Morning friends and Family. I had a fantastic day yesterday. I rec. an e-mail late Tuesday night to say that I was to appear in a venue in St. John’s! I was confused because there was little information given as to where, why etc. So I inquired! I was informed today that it was indeed connected to the East Coast Awards and that the association wanted me to do a reading at 265 Duckworth St. May 15th. I e-mailed back to say that I live in Ontario!
I was then informed that I would be reimbursed for my flight! So off I go to St. John’s on the 13th. of May and then on to Dartmouth for the Awards Ceremonies for the 19th. of May!
Keith is driving down to NS and we will be driving back together. I Never thought this would happen to little ole me! I’m humbled and a tad overwhelmed by all that’s been happening! and I really appreciate all the people, writing instructors, teachers, editors, advisors, informers and friends and especially my family back home who have been there for me. Sal, Rhoda, Eddy Winnie, Dora, Phillip, and baby sister Linda. I love you all so much and wish I could spend more time with all of you. I miss the laughter!
Will somebody …again…please…pinch me!
