Good morning Josie:
Pat and I would like to wish you a good trip to Nova Scotia and good luck for the awards. But, no matter what the outcome, you are already a winner. Just being nominated makes that true. Plus the wonderful inspiration that your recovery provides for others makes you the biggest winner of all.
Good luck to you and our very best regards to Keith;

Hi Jack and Pat
So good to hear from you guys ! Thank you sooo much, Can I post it on
my web site? I will need all the support I can get on this one. It’s a
tad scary for me but I think I’m ready for it and looking forward to
it. I agree getting the award is not the issue here , however winning
it would be nice! Believing in yourself DOES work! Have you been
following my site- sofewonearth.com?
Again thanks a lot!!!
Please feel free to post this. I’m very happy to help your cause. I’m sure it is scary for you but just remember where you came from and where you are now and anything is possible. Yes, I remember a weeping, confused, frightened lady and watched her blossom into a confident, secure and successful woman. Winning the award would be divine justice.
All the best;

Hi Kirk I told my story as I saw it and not necessarily how others might see it. I didn’t make anything up but I may have gotten a few thing screwed around a bit. When you work from memory especially MY memory there could be a few inaccuracies there…I appologize if I wrote ANYTHINY that would be offensive!

Hi my new friend…while i have not read your book as of yet…i am aware of its content and topic and want to say I am very proud of you for having the courage to speak what our people think somehow, is unspeakable. We often say, Labrador people are too quiet etc… well…there is good reason for that isn’t there.
I look forward to writing more to you when I have time right now I am very busy and on the way out the door.
Thank you for the book you gave to our people…. enough of those wishy washy, "how great the dorm was, how good the missionaries were, how they all wanted what was ‘best’ for us…and gave gave gave. I think they took a lot more than they gave.
